Securities and Exchange Comm.
Dear Securities and Exchange Comm.,
I am outraged that the five pentarchs on the Supreme Court have, for purely partisan political purposes, decreed that money is speech and that corporations are individuals from a privilege point of view but not individuals from a responsibility/liability point of view. The secret and blatant purchase of political favors by outright bribery is the end of democracy.
Please make use of your authority to force corporations to reveal their expenditures for political favors and other forms of corruption that affect all of us. It is crucial for the democratic process that we the people retain control over all spending that involves the public well being. In order to do that, we must know who, how much, when and where that spending is taking place.
Thank you.
Sincerely,
James N Long
