Securities and Exchange Comm.

Dear Securities and Exchange Comm.,

Corporate funding should never have been permitted as part of our electoral process.

The Supreme Court’s ruling in Citizens United v. the FEC is the probably heaviest blow ever dealt to our democratic process, and the very least we can do is demand the Securities and Exchange Commission issue a ruling requiring publicly traded corporations to publicly disclose all their political spending.

In this age of professionally run disinformation campaigns, our democratic process is already corrupted. Information of this sort is critical for making informed voting decisions.

Thank you for considering my comment.

Sincerely,

Richard J. Harder
