If we use the term "democracy" to describe our system of governance and inspire others to follow suit, then we cannot accept anything that contradicts that term.

Until the SEC renders the corporate funding of elections transparent, we cannot claim to be an inspiring participatory democracy, since this state of affairs renders our "democracy" one bereft of the mechanism which would distinguish it from a plutocracy or a corporatocracy , and this is not in line with the Constitution and with the intend of our Founding Fathers,
