Securities and Exchange Comm.
Dear Securities and Exchange Comm.,
When I vote, I can hide behind a curtain. When I give money to a candidate, I can’t & don’t.
When the KKK people would ride into town they would hide behind a sheet. They didn't have to do anything violent. Just stand there. Everybody was influenced.
Money can wear a mask, and cause fear & confusion among us. Would masked money have unintended consequences similar to the panic caused by the 20th Century radio show that spoofed an attack from Mars?
You officials have a history of fighting for disclosure. Is this your moment again? I don’t know but I do know that the decision of our Supreme Court was not as well thought out as those in the court’s past.
I feel it important to tell you a little about myself. I’m a ‘Nam vet. I volunteered. I voted a straight GOP ticket from 1968 until 2000. I supported Reaganomics. I now vote Dem. Why? Because of issues like this. This is not the same nation I volunteered to fight for.
Sincerely,
Jim Lewis
