I am very concerned about the influence of corporate money in our political process.
The Supreme Court's decision in the Citizens United case gives well-funded and publicly traded corporation extraordinary power to influence our elections.
The corporations are using shareholder's money in ways that shareholders may not agree with. The owners of any company should know exactly how their money is being used by the managers and employee of their company.
I hope the SEC will act to require publicly traded corporations to publicly disclose all their political spending.
