Dear members of the Securities and Exchange Commission:
Citizens United clearly shows that everyone has a price, including but not limited to the Supreme Court, and if Congress had the courage to do the right thing, we'd have a federal law and/or a Constitutional Amendment clearly stating that corporations are not people, that money is not speech and that our republic and its citizen soldiers and public servants are not for sale to the highest bidder.
I want the SEC to issue a rule mandating publicly traded corporations to publicly disclose any and all political, contributions to each and every political organization, whether local, regional or national, at least 7-days prior to that contribution's distribution.
Free, fair, fact based elections are not a apparitional goal, they are an absolute right if the democracy our founding fathering fought so hard to secure is to be a government of the people, by the people and for the people.
Thank you for considering my comment.
