As a voter and citizen, I am deeply dismayed by the anonymous torrents of money that are flowing into our political system, particularly since the Supreme Court's Citizens United decision.
In order to engage with the political process and the effect that this money has on that process, it is important that I and my fellow members of the public are at least able to know what companies are spending. Public disclosure on political spending is the bare minimum that should be requested of publicly traded companies on this issue.
Please do not let corporations hide their political spending. Require disclosure by publicly traded companies.
