Dear Members of the Securities and Exchange Commission:
As a shareholder, I should know how much of my investment goes toward corporation spending on politics (directly and through intermediaries), and which candidates are being promoted or attacked. I do not want to contribute to a cause I don't believe in. On the other hand, I may agree with and appreciate that spending. In either case, that information should be made public.
I strongly support the SEC issuing a rule in the near future that would require publicly traded corporations to publicly disclose all their spending on political activities.
Thank you for considering my comment.
Sincerely,
Ann Green
