Members of the Securities and Exchange Commission:

Save our democratic system before it's too late. Too many examples in the world of thieving, secretive, dishonest elite corporate entities and the result to working people. A disaster. It's long past time to end secret political spending by greedy conscienceless corporations.

So I strongly support the SEC issuing a rule in the near future that would require publicly traded corporations to publicly disclose all their spending on political activities.

Both shareholders and the public (who are the foundation of the country these corporations thrive on) deserve to know how much is spent on political payoffs and payouts that benefit them at the expense of regular working folks (directly and through intermediaries), and which candidates are being promoted or attacked in order to rig the system. You must act to preserve a system that is more fair and sustainable, or watch this country tank.

Sincerely,

Teri Matelson
