As these contributions are being made to materially effect future earnings shareholders deserve to know what is spent and why, as they would with other such expenditures.
Further as a shareholder in a corporation, I am a part owner. As the corporation is allowed to make these contributions as First Amendment protected free speech, as part owner of the individual, I want to know what speech is being made in my name.
