In 1953, I published an 8-page article titled "Light for Investors: Security and Exchange Commission After Eighteen Years", Social Justice, February, 1953.
Based on the 1920's abuses by many in the investment industry, SEC gave hope for investors for a regulated way to curtail the abusers. Recent SEC history reveals it needs a renewed effort to expose some corporations hiding how they spend our money and investments on lobbying for their own political interests.
