The SEC should be fully committed to providing investors with necessary information, including political spending. Corporations should be transparent in their efforts to influence policy, and we should know what their actions involve More and more Americans, like myself, are investing their retirement funds in corporations which may act in ways antithetical to our views. We deserve to know what political spending is being funded with our nest eggs.
