Securities and Exchange Comm.

Dear Securities and Exchange Comm.,

Please give prompt approval to rules requiring public disclosure of political spending by publicly-held companies.

The Supreme Court, for better or worse, has declared money to be speech. Free speech does not guarantee secret speech. It is in the best interests of our democracy to force companies to reveal their speech and not engage in the current destructive secrecy.

Thank you for considering my comment.

Sincerely,

Michael Maltenfort
