If we were holding an election for class president for 8th grade, would we allow the teacher to contribute money or effort to the child's campaign that she likes best? Would we allow the principal or the janitor down the hall to have their say because they have money and power? No, because this would alter the process of the election and skew the results for which it was intended.
Citizens United is doing the same thing but on a much larger scale and at much greater costs.
I hope that someone actually reads this, but more importantly listens to it.
