Securities and Exchange Comm.

Dear Securities and Exchange Comm.,

We the people are struggling on all fronts to regain and strengthen a democracy that will benefit all people. A major front we are WORKING for is the reversal of the US Supreme Court's decision to significantly destroy the meaning of how we democratically vote in our State and Federal elections with THEIR toxic Citizens United vote.

The prepared comments below express in part my hopes that you will take immediate action to act now and require companies to disclose their political spending. At least, this would be the beginning of correcting and cleaning up our voting process!!!

I’m writing to urge the commission’s prompt approval of rules requiring public disclosure of political spending by publicly-held companies. Disclosure is vital to the SEC’s responsibility to ensure that investors have the information they need to make sound decisions about when and where to put their money. Shareholders also have a right to know how companies in their investment portfolios are investing that money, particularly when the spending falls outside the company’s normal business activity.

Thank you for considering my comment.

Sincerely,

Will Koenitzer
