Dear Members of the Securities and Exchange Commission:

I strongly support the SEC issuing a rule in the near future that would require publicly traded corporations to publicly disclose all their spending on political activities.  It would be preferable if such funding were no longer legal.

We have abandoned the exalted and delicate philosophy of our founders who shed blood to give us a government "of, by, and for the people": instead, I wake each day in the Kingdom of Lockheed Martin, Chevron, Marriott, et al. -- a crass and heartless substitute.

Sincerely,

Nansi Weil
