I write in support of the petition by the Committee on Disclosure of Corporate Political Spending, File Number 4-637.
I believe corporate political spending affects corporate behaviors of direct relevance to investment decisions. Regulations that require corporations to disclose their spending on political activities would make it easier for me to invest as I choose and better able to evaluate investment decisions, including those made on by behalf. Such information is also relevant to my rights and duties as a citizen.
