I am writing to ask the Securities and Exchange Commission to issue a rule requiring publicly traded corporations to publicly disclose all their political spending. As an investor, I have a right to know how my money is being spent. Like most investors, I do not have the time or resources to mount proxy campaigns to achieve this. The SEC should take action to protect millions of American investors like me.
