With the advent of the "Citizens United" decision, our bulwark against corporations buying elections has been degraded.  Toward restoring protection, the Securities and Exchange Commission should require publicly traded corporations to disclose their political spending.  Please return the rule to the unified agenda and complete it as soon as possible.

Shareholders and the public should have the opportunity to be fully informed on corporate spending on politics and which candidates are being promoted or attacked.  Disclosures should be posted promptly on the S.E.C.’s web site.

Thank you for considering my comment.
