I am writing to urge the Securities and Exchange Commission You know that lobbying is far more powerful than effer; that Congress members get more money from outsdie their district than within because of the committees on which they sit; that the more the government does for special interests, the more everyone feels "someone else is getting advantaged and so I will just hate politics and the government.
Fight the forces that undermine democracy, however stupid and susceptible to demagogy so many voters are. Transparancy is one of the few issues on which the far right and left agree. we need to strengthen the center.
