Dear Members of the Securities and Exchange Commission:
Please end secrecy in political contributions from public companies. Shareholders and customers, not to mention voters, need to know what politicians and political action committees corporations are supporting.
Please also consider making such disclosures as near as possible to instantaneous. Corporations should not be able to make disclosures after the election is over. There are no technical or other reasons to allow delayed reporting.
