Dear Members of the Securities and Exchange Commission:
As much as I disagree with the Supreme Court's decision on the Citizens United case, I accept that corporations can give astonishing amounts of money to sway politics. But I cannot and will not accept the idea that they can do so secretly. Please carry through the plans to make disclosure of political spending a mandatory rule. If we allow corporate monoliths to influence the policy decisions of our governemnt, our government agencies should at the very least keep us all aware of it. Thank you for your work on developing this rule, and please implement it immediately.
