Dear Members of the Securities and Exchange Commission: Since Citizens United v. FEC undisclosed spending by corporate interests in the United States and from abroad has quickly and relentlessly devalued the individual American citizen's vote, dangerously weakening our democracy. We must put an end to this now. The SEC must require public corporations to publicly reveal all monies spent on political activities.
Shareholders as well as the general public deserve to know how much a given corporation spends on politics (directly and through intermediaries), and which candidates are being promoted or attacked.
Thank you for considering my comment.
