Subject: Comment on File Number 4-637

Dear Members of the Securities and Exchange Commission:

Corporations do not care about the quality of the water we drink or the air we breathe. They do not care about their employees, the American people or future generations. They only care about the bottom line. As if the damage they wreak can be resolved by the next generation.

We live at a time when there IS no future generation to pass it to. If this is musical chairs, we are the generation that has been left standing.

I live in the Gulf where BP's greed and conscienceless continues to spread like a cancer of contaminated seafood, lost jobs, dashed dreams and sick wildlife.

Every dollar I spend is a vote for the future of my granddaughters. I WANT TO KNOW WHO IS BEHIND THE EVIL - because there is no other word for certain corporate machines and I WILL NOT ENABLE IT.

AMERICANS DESERVE TO KNOW!!!

I strongly support the SEC issuing a rule in the near future that would require publicly traded corporations to publicly disclose all their spending on political activities.

Both shareholders and the public deserve to know how much a given corporation spends on politics (directly and through intermediaries), and which candidates are being promoted or attacked.

Thank you for considering my comment.

Sincerely,

Micki LeCronier
