Subject: Comment on File Number 4-637

November 26, 2012

Dear members of the Securities and Exchange Commission:

The Supreme Court's Citizens United ruling was pathetic enough, devastating our democracy to a point during this election that beggared belief. Please do not add to it further by continuing to allow publicly traded corporations to heave their political donations around while keeping them totally secret from their SHAREHOLDERS as well as the public.

Enough is enough.

We the People are in the process of amending the Constitution to override the ridiculous Citizens United ruling. Please, in the interim, do what you can to keep publicly traded corporations as transparent as possible.

I am writing to urge the SEC to issue a rule requiring publicly traded corporations to publicly disclose all their political spending.

Both shareholders and the public must be fully informed as to how much the corporation spends on politics and which candidates are being promoted or attacked. Disclosures should be posted promptly on the SEC's web site.

Thank you for considering my comment.

Sincerely,

Susan G. Lee
