Dear Securities and Exchange Comm.,
Please approve the rules requiring public disclosure of political spending by publicly-held companies.
Special interests have disproportionate control over political decisions making it very difficult for citizens to control the issues that impact them. Disclosure allows us to see who is investing in what disinformation campaign among other reasons.
I hate the idea that life as a consumer has to be political but i do not want to support a company that acts in its own self interest above the interests of the country.
