Dear members of the Securities and Exchange Commission:
I am contacting you in regards to the ability of corporations to contribute to political campaigns without disclosing those contributions. I do not think the torrent of money that is injected into our political system without public disclosure by these corporations is right. In many cases, not even shareholders are aware that these contributions are being made or to whom or for what. This is wrong and the FEC should do something to force the disclosure of all contributions, especially those made by entities other than a private citizen. I know that the Supreme Court has declared corporations people as far as these contributions are concerned and I think that is wrong also. It is your job to make sure it is public knowledge what is going on and where the money is going. This does not help our political system and is a breeding ground for corruption. Please do what you can to make these donations public.
Thank you for considering my comment.
Sincerely,
David Bjorkman
