We need to know who is funding the PACs behind the advertising and campaigns for political candidates. We don't even know for sure that they are all U.S. companies, or whether money is being funneled from foreign sources. Knowing who funds an ad helps us to ascertain its creditibility, which is of course why Super PACs want to keep their donations -- especially from corporations where we may be spending money -- secret.
Please use your regulatory authority to require that corporations disclose their spending in elections.
