Subject: Comment on File Number 4-637

November 26, 2012

Dear members of the Securities and Exchange Commission:

Public markets rely on trust and transparency; investors must be confident that they understand how their money is being put to work. Backroom transactions to support politicians and campaigning put this trust and confidence at dire risk.

I strongly recommend that you, in the interests of investor protection and well-functioning markets and public companies, require that public companies disclose all their political donations, and that they do so promptly and completely.

Thank you for considering my comment and for keeping our investment markets fair, free and flexible.

Sincerely,

Tom Hughes
