Dear members of the Securities and Exchange Commission:
Citizens United was the Supreme Court's worst decision of all time, and is currently having the effect of bludgeoning the public with repeated and ugly advertising that is effectively destroying our one-person-one-vote democracy.
We now have a gladiator show, not an election cycle, and it deadens the appetite for citizen involvement, much less getting to the voting booth. This tsunami of advertising adds anger and irritation and anxiety to an already struggling population just trying to make ends meet.
Network TV and the Supreme Court are in collution with the big spenders who don't have names or faces -- the huge corporations and the wealthy few. We are done as a democracy if we can't get fair and transparent and clean elections back at every level of our society. We are finished.

Thank you for considering my comment.

Sincerely,

Pamela Larratt
