I believe current regulations are adequate as to advisors meeting with clients. Additional regulation will lead to additional costs which would be adverse to financial firms and the consumer.If the cost of doing business becomes more burdensome more compliance rules,more discloures needed, greater liability for advisor I believe many advisors will leave the business-less advisors,more likely cosumers will get the help they need.
