I have been in the insurance industry since 1989. I have been a registered rep since 2001. I work with many customers with mostly diversified mutual fund portfolios. There is plenty of regulation inforce to keep consumers protected in this area. I believe the SEC can adequately protect consumers by enforcing current laws.
