I find it surprising that financial consultants have no fiduciary duty to my invesments that I place with them. They are driven and obligated to make money for their employer rather than protecting my investments. With such an environment, how can it be expected that normal everyday investors are protected from a market which is notorious for their greed. All companies which provide financial services should be required to provide the option of working with financial consultants which have a fudiciary duty to their client.
