I understand that you are considering new regulations for Registerd Representatives and their Brokers. I have been a Registered Representative for twenty five years. I hold series 6, 63 and 26 licenses. Our industry is already heavily regulated. This agency has never had a consumer complaint as to our sales and service of financial products. The total fees and regulations levied on our industry already makes retaining securities licenses a hardship. Registered Representatives have a huge part in helping Americans plan for their financial future including their retirement. Adding another layer of rules and fees will force a number of very qualified people from the securities business and therefore bring hardship to the public. Americans need sound financial advice that is provided by members or our profession.
