Time taken up with compliance issues currently consumes a great portion of the day. It is imperative that, as a registered representative, I act in the best interest of my client regardless of compensation. That has been my standard for thirty years in the business and I would sorely hate to be forced into a fee only position in which my client may or may not recive the best possible advice and alternatives.
