SEC. Please think about what you are doing with the this bill. Make CERTAIN the bill achieve the stated goal before moving forward. As a small busines owner, with employees, I am faced with difficult decision each week. Before spending money on marketing or new hires I must make certain I will achieve the desired goal.
I already pay for several licenses stating I understand my industry and the CE I pay for each year is to remain current in my profession. I also take ethics courses a required by law.
MY POINT: Just because I have these licenses and take Ethics courses as required DOES NOT automatically deem my actions appropriate for my clients...Neither will making your changes. I must do business in an upright manner ALL THE TIME just to stay in business.
My license does not make me ETHICAL...your proposed chages will not either. However, my actions and general good character take care of my customers. NOT your new regulations.
Please do not allow this poitically driven non-sense to move forward.
