I have spent 40 years in the financial planning business and with each passing year I have seen more and more regulations and rules being placed on my business because of the few bad eggs that take advantage of the public.
I have to meet requirements each year for compliance and with each year they get more frequent and time consuming and it makes you want to get out of the business.
The more the government tries to regulate my business the more confusing it becomes, there has to be point where enough is enough.
