In this day an age it's even more important that the public is getting proper guidance.
Anyone holding themselves out as a financial planner should have proper training and be held to a higher standard.
There are too many sales people out there that are not looking out for their clients best interest.
There should be a standard followed that gives the public the right to unbias informatiom with the proper fee disclosure.
A CFP(R) is held to a strick code of ethics and continuing education. It's a must in the financial planning business.
