Please consider applying a Fiduciary standard/process for ALL insurance agents and registered reps (I'm a 24,7 and an agent). The public believes they have a true trusted advisor and they really have a manufactures rep. when dealing with some brokers and agents. This business model is fine as long as they declare that their first concern must be the company/s they represent. Don't let the insurance companies and wire-houses talk you out of this, it's in the PUBLIC interest.
