I support a much stronger fiduciary standard. However, I think the industry should be monitored and policed by a central governmental agency and all SRO's should be abolished.
Furthermore, I believe that each individual offering advice to clients should have attained a specific level of education (prior and ongoing) before being allowed to offer said advice directly to clients.
