The suitability standards that we are currently under are both stringent and heavily enforced. To add more compliance and over complicate our business more will surely drive more represenatatives out of the business adding to the already growing unemployment problem.These additional costs will simply add to the consumers cost and keep more people from doing the planning that they need. The fee only compensation plan will not make plans more unbiased....it will simply make it easy for representatives to let consumers place business with any carrier regardless of financial strength and stability because he or she has no skin in the game.
