Crowdfunding represents an important divergence from the prevailing model; it represents the cooperative rather than the corporate. As a security, I certainly believe in smart regulation & I think the current proposals offer that. I'm not a stickler for any particular detail — whether the cap is $100 or $500 is all but immaterial as long as it remains in that ballpark & restricted to individuals. Suffice to say, I support the attention this petition is getting & endorse action on the SECs part in this direction.
