Hello,
I would like to know even after putting the BAN on Short Selling on Financial Firms why did the Financial drops by 100%
SEC banned short selling of financial stocks completely in 2008. So a rule put in place from lessons learned in the largest equities bear market in history was removed not long before what is currently the second largest equities bear market in history?
So, reinstating the uptick rule does nothing.
