I strongly urge the commission to maintain 12b-1 fees.
As a low transaction advisor, I rely on the fees for my compensation. I pride myself on making recommendations to clients that fit their needs - however - I need to be compensated for that advice. The reality is that the fee is a low cost item for a client to maintain an advisor.
