Although I am charged this 12B-1 one every single year, I receive absolutely no services whatever from the broker that sold me my American Funds. I should not have to pay forever. The broker made a one time commission, and that should be it.

When I buy a sofa, or a car, I pay once, not a trailing commission every year to the salesman for the rest of my life.

The brokers who complain that elimination of the 12B1 would hurt them financially should maybe seek other employment.

12B-1s are an absolute disgrace, and should be 100% eliminated, not added to the expense ratio of mutual funds

Thank You,

Andrew Gross
