I am constantly disgusted by the \"consequences\" of financial fraud. The punishment never fits the crime and does nothing to deter future bad actors. They defraud small investors and pension funds while taking taxpayer bailouts of OUR money. The fines are simply seen as a cost of doing business.
We demand real consequences. George Floyd was murdered for trying to pass a counterfeit $20 bill, but these people have literally gotten away with stealing BILLIONS of dollars. It's a disgrace.
