I was approached via Linked In, and then email, in April 2015 by a DeVere employee, who wanted to discuss my 3 UK pension schemes.

After several weeks of discussions and emails I was persuaded to transfer my pensions, and my wife's pension, to 2 separate QROPS plans, to be administered by DeVere and RL360.

At no point were any conflicts of interest, or potential commissions/fees for DeVere discussed or revealed.

The was no discussion on DeVere's compensation/upfront commission to transfer my pension to a QROPS with RL360.

Nor was there discussion on any DeVere compensation/upfront commission to invest my funds in specific mutual funds paying adviser commissions.

If I had been aware of these conflicts of interest at the time, I would have done additional research to assess if I wanted to convert to a QROPS, and also I would have used an alternative company to manage the investment.
