I strongly support IEX for registration as a National Securities Exchange. It's not often that a group of individuals band together to do something that benefits virtually everyone in the US that now or in the future own stocks, and our government should encourage their efforts. The IEX system is fair to everyone and would seem to only hurt those companies seeking to exploit investors that do not have fast servers. We should all hope there could be more companies on Wall Street trying to implement something that does good for the American people such as what IEX is trying to do. Approving this application will send a clear signal that our government will support companies that will challenge the establishment for the betterment of all investors instead of giving a competitive advantage to a few companies looking only to exploit loopholes.
