In this modern era of high speed transactions and computer algorithmic trades, it's incredibly important for the SEC to make a profound statement of support for honest, open and transparent trading in the US securities markets and for the protection of long term individual investors over short term professional intermediaries, who have a tendency and big incentive to front-run those market...
For the betterment of the overall marketplace and to provide all securities traders an honest, open and equally fair exchange in which to feel confidence, I IMPLORE the SEC to approve IEXs application to become an Exchange with a protected quotation.
