Income Taxes	Note 3 — Income Taxes The Company is subject to taxation in the U.S. and various state and foreign jurisdictions. The Company remains subject to examination by U.S. federal and state and foreign tax authorities for the years 2015 through 2017. With few exceptions, the Company is no longer subject to examination by tax authorities for the year 2014 and prior. The consolidated effective tax rates were 24.3% and 21.8% in first quarter 2019 and 2018, respectively. This change in the effective tax rate principally reflects more favorable foreign income tax expense in the prior year first quarter 2018 when compared to first quarter 2019.
